4. Photo-ops With The Sea Lions
We’re talking, of course, about the legendary Fisherman’s Wharf, and one of its equally famous staples, Pier 39. Boasting some of the most popular attractions in San Francisco, this area of the city is a truly festive waterfront marketplace. But what caught our eye when exploring this part of town was the colony of California sea lions that have a habit of taking up residence on the floats in the Pier 39 Marina.
Their antics are often enjoyed by countless visitors who line the nearby railing to enjoy the show. We definitely recommend doing the same, especially since Madame Tussaud’s and the San Francisco Dungeon are only a short walk away. The same goes for the famous crab vendors who sell delicious shrimp cocktails and walk-away crab.
