3. Twin Peaks
More than 900 feet high, the Twin Peaks are not the highest of the 43 hills found in and around San Francisco, but they do have their charms. The uninhabited and unique land formations remain completely undeveloped, are very easy to access and offer some of the finest views of the city and bay.
The north peak parking area, for example, is perfect for driving up and then continuing on foot along trails webbing around both peaks. As far as top rated tourist attractions in San Francisco go, these two are on the mellow side, but equally interesting and definitely worth a visit.
