4. Haeinsa Temple, Korea
One of the three Jewel Temples of Korea, Haeinsa Temple is located on Gaya Mountain in Hapcheon-gun region. Representing Dharma or Buddha’s teachings, the temple was first built in 802 and there were renovations during different periods. Decades later in the year 1995, it was added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The storage halls in the temple complex are not just the national treasure of Korea but are regarded as some of the world’s largest wooden storage facilities.
