Day 2 in Venice
Get lost in Venice!
Visit every twist and turn of this Italian city! As you do not have too much time to explore Venice, it is better to explore the exterior of the attractions and the houses. Wander aimlessly on the narrow streets especially against the direction of the crowd.
You will be amazed finding usually empty squares and streets. You will feel like in a labyrinth, finding yourself in the point where you have just started or in blind alleys. Nevertheless, grab a map with you, so in case you get lost literally, you could find a solution.

Shopping in Venice is unavoidable! You cannot leave this city without buying at least one carnival mask for you, as a souvenir. Stands are stalls are everywhere! But the stalls placed in the center of the city may ask from you a higher price for souvenirs. Instead, while walking to the peripheries of Venice, you will find souvenir shops selling stuff for 1 Euro per piece! Isn’t it great? Still, if you seriously decided to acquire an original porcelain mask, head to specialized shops.
When you feel tired of walking, take a ride on a gondola. Although the ride could seem to you a little bit too expensive, do not forget that it is probably a one in a lifetime experience, so go on! Besides this, it is so romantic to glide on the narrow canals, between the ancient walls of different edifices and under numerous bridges.

After a day full of walking you probably will need a copious supper. You could opt for restaurants or cafes positioned farther from the center, where delicious seafood dishes and wine is offered at reliable prices, or, if you search for something real consistent, head to “Trattoria Vini Da Arturo”, where you can enjoy a steak, studded with green peppercorn, soused in brandy and mustard.
