4. Granville Island
Granville Island is actually a peninsula and is a shopping and entertainment district in Vancouver. This area is home to 275 businesses and facilities, including a large public market, a marina, a boutique hotel, the Emily Carr University of Art and Design, multiple performing arts theaters, fine arts galleries and lots of shopping areas. Also, some annual festivals take place on Granville Island such as the Vancouver International Children’s Festival, the Vancouver Fringe Festival, the Vancouver Writers Fest etc.
