3. Trafalgar Square
Designed by John Nash in the 1820s and constructed in the 1830s, Trafalgar Square is one of the greatest visitor attractions in all of Great Britain, in addition to being one of the most famous squares in the world that easily rivals the likes of the Moscow’s Red Square and Beijing’s Tiananmen Square. It is also one of the free things to do in London, and boasts the aforementioned National Gallery, as well as the famed Nelson’s Column. Many aren’t aware of this, but Trafalgar Square also happens to be the main focus for political demonstrations. Interestingly, every December, a marvelous Christmas tree is donated by Norway, as a thank you to Britain for liberating it from the Nazis.

Free is always good, especially when in London. Amazing saving tips, thanks Paul and Paula!
