4. Houses of Parliament
A neo-gothic wonder of the mid-19th century, the Palace of Westminster, which is also home of the Clock Tower (or Big Ben, as the clock itself is called), is filled with houses, quite literally. The House of Lords and the House of Commons are both situated here, and the best part about this entry among free stuff to do in London is the fact that you only need to reserve ahead in order to watch various antics during Parliament sessions. Witnessing an episode of one of the most significant political debates in the history of the modern world isn’t too bad a way to spend a day of your London visit, is it?

Free is always good, especially when in London. Amazing saving tips, thanks Paul and Paula!
