8. Celeb-Spotting at a Graveyard
Morbid? Perhaps. Unusual? Definitely. One might argue this is a somewhat macabre activity to be doing on your visit, but hey – if you’re on the hunt for a serene experience, it doesn’t get much better than this when talking about free things to do in London. Famous names, beautiful tombs and very impressive sculptures adorn many beautiful cemeteries throughout London, with the most famous being the Magnificent Seven. This is a series of private, large cemeteries set up in the Victorian era (a time when final resting space was considered premium real estate). Karl Marx’s tomb, for example, is found at Highgate Cemetery, whereas the Golders Green Crematorium is home to Keith Moon, Sigmund Freud, Bram Stoker, Marc Bolan and many others.

Free is always good, especially when in London. Amazing saving tips, thanks Paul and Paula!
