1. Calgary Stampede
Fans of rodeo probably have heard about the famous annual Calgary Stampede – rodeo, exhibition and festival held every July in Calgary, Alberta. It usually lasts 10 days. This is the most important Canadian festival of the Wild West culture that aims to preserve the Western traditions. The Calgary Stampede opens with a grand parade in the center of the city – an exciting march that involves music bands, huge lighted platforms, tightrope walkers, horses, cowboys and so on.
