The finest example of early-Mamluk architecture in Cairo, the Mosque of Sultan Hassan is a magnificent structure built between 1356 and 1363. One of the largest mosques in the world, the mosque of Sultan Hassan is known for its innovative architecture.
Right opposite the mosque is Al-Rifai mosque which signifies the glory of the Egypt’s Islamic history and culture. A majestic edifice which was built in a mix of styles which included minarets and dome from the Mamluk period of Egyptian history. The two historical architecture gems in Cairo promise a close encounter with the golden era which gave us some of the most spectacular constructions to last for centuries and ensure a culturally enriching experience.
