8. Museum of Science and Industry
Founded in 1933, this is probably one the most popular museums in the city for tourists. It has permanent and changing exhibits and an OMNIMAX theater, and showcases the advancements made in the application of natural laws in industrial and technological development. It may or may not be the first museum to use the “hands-on” method for tourists to interact with exhibits in North America. Definitely one of the more interesting things to do in Chicago.
