3. Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology
If you know someone who is fond of dinosaurs and of everything that is connected to them, then recommend it this museum! Moreover, it is not only a simple museum with an impressive collection of over 130,000 fossils, it is also a center of palaeontological research. The Museum is named in honor of Joseph Burr Tyrell, a geologist who accidentally discovered a dinosaur fossil in the Red Deer River while looking for coal seams. The museum was given “Royal” status in 1990.
