6. Shop at Great Market Hall
The largest and oldest indoor marketplace in Budapest since 1896, the Great Market Hall is worth your time, if not for shopping then for history. Spread across 10000 square meters of area with three floors, entry gate with a hint of neo-gothic style and the most talked-about roof design with Zsolnay tiling from Pécs, the market has stalls selling a huge range of goods from food items to souvenirs. The Great Market Hall is closed on Sundays.
