Also known as The Great Synagogue, the Dohány Street Synagogue is amongst the largest synagogues in the world and the largest in Europe. Built between 1854 and 1859, this Jewish place of worship can house 3000 people at a time and also consists of a museum, Memorial, and the Hero’s temple.
