6. Valletta Waterfront
Once a dockside area, Valletta waterfront today is one of Malta’s most popular tourist attractions lined with cafes, bars, restaurants, and stores. Also known as Pinto Stores or Pinto Wharf, the waterfront’s main highlight is the series of baroque buildings built in the 18th century as stores and warehouses. The waterfront is also a venue for music festivals such as the Malta Jazz Festival, the Malta Fireworks Festival along with several other popular music fests.
