8. Fairy Pools, Skye
One would be foolish to think that the name of this attraction serves to attract visitors only to have it disappoint them upon arrival. In actuality, even though one conjures some enchanting imagery, the real life sight of the waterfalls cascading through carved rock that empty into vivid turquoise pools is more than enough to cause jaws to drop. When it comes to the quest to discover Scotland, the Fairy Pools should be mandatory for all visitors.
