3. Rock of Cashel
One of Ireland’s most outstanding archeological sites, Rock of Cashel is a set of medieval buildings including a well-preserved round tower—one of Ireland’s finest 12th-century Romanesque chapel, 13th-century Gothic cathedral, and 15th century Castle. These amazing relics from the past are beautifully perched on a limestone outcrop in the Golden Vale and together make for a great site to explore.
