8. The Cave of the Crystals, Mexico
Located 1000ft below the surface at the Naica Mine famous for its extraordinary selenite crystals in Chihuahua, the Cave of the Crystals is a life-changing sight in itself. The chamber of the cave is full of colossal selenite crystals, some of which are the largest natural crystals found on earth. Although the cave is now closed to visitors after a worker’s death while trying to steal some crystal, no discussion on cave can be complete without a mention of the Cave of the Crystals which is most certainly one of the most amazing caves in the world.
