8. Alberobello (Puglia)
Alberobello which literally means “beautiful tree” is a much-famed small town with about 10,700 inhabitants. The town owes its fame to Trulli buildings: white tipped beehive shaped abodes made of local limestone. These 1500 Trulli homes together are listed as UNESCO World Heritage site. A picture-perfect town named after oak forest Arboris Belli is a popular tourist destination looking for an authentic Italian experience away from the hustle bustle of a big city. Alberobello is one of the reasons why you must visit Italy at least once before concluding your journey on this planet.
