2. Vernazza (Liguria)
One of the most authentic and traditional fishing hamlets on the Italian Riviera, Vernazza is one of the five regions that form Clinque Terre. A historical town, origin of which is dated back to 1080 is famous for its centuries-old traditions, fishing, wine and olive oil production. The main sights of this incredibly stunning town in Italy include Church of Santa Margherita d’Antiochia (c. 1318), a 15th-century castle, and the sanctuary called Santuario di Nostra Signora di Reggio which is located at an hour’s walk from Vernazza.
