8. Blekinge, Sweden
Blekinge is a somewhat small, yet enchanting and beautiful destination that’s surprisingly close to a number of other little-known, delightful spots. Visitors can enjoy island hopping, sunbathing on archipelago cliffs, sandy beaches, lakes, wilderness and the thick forest with bright green meadows. Interestingly, the sun also shines for more hours during the day here than in many other places in Sweden. That’s bound to make your stay even better. We suggest exploring the historic naval base; it’s a part of the maritime world heritage. Also, taste the locally produced food, experience music, arts, crafts and family activities while spending time in one of the often overlooked hidden tourist gems in Scandinavia.

I don’t know if Torvehallerne is really “hidden” but it does rock! Cheers from Copenhagen!
