Why You Need to Visit Iran and Where to Go

10. Kashan

Kashan is the first of the large oases along the Qom-Kerman road which runs along the edge of the central deserts of Iran. Its charm is thus mainly due to the contrast between the sandy immensities of the deserts and the lush greenery of the oasis. Kashan is a common destination for tourists because of numerous historical places. One should visit here the Agha Bozorg Mosque, the Fin Garden – one of the most beautiful historical gardens of the Middle East and the world, in general, but also the baths: the Historical bathhouse and the Sultan Amir Bath.
