Visit the Uffizi Gallery – Uffizi is the heart of Renaissance art! This place is definitely a piece of heaven for art lovers. Paintings of Sandro Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Correggio, Rembrandt, Michelangelo, Raffaello, Tiziano… all of them in one single place! The Uffizi Museum (Uffizi Gallery being just a part of it) is a very popular tourist attraction. So, we recommend you to book online in advance tickets to this museum, in order to shorten the period of expectation before you enter it. There is very much to see in the gallery, so head straight to the main rooms of it. You can also opt for a guided tour or audio tour.

After a good dose of fine art, direct to the Piazza della Signora, and have a good snack. For a coffee and pastries go to the Rivoire, right in the middle of the piazza, facing Palazzo Vecchio.

Opera del Duomo, or the Florence Cathedral Works, or Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore, is a real treasure for the ones who love Gothic style and sculpture. The building is preserving and enhancing for more than seven centuries already the monuments and works of arts comprising the Great Museum of the Duomo. Besides its permanent exhibition, the Opera del Duomo organizes and sponsors various initiatives of cultural nature like concerts, conferences, study seminars, and other events that take place on particular occasions. If you would like to listen to Chapel Choir, you are welcome to liturgy at the Florence Cathedral.

Hop into the Coquinarius, right near the Duomo, and have dinner in an informal place with impressive vaulted ceilings and wooden décor. In order to be sure that you will end your evening satiated, better make a reservation here in advance.
