Day 2
Your second day of visit should be away from the ruins and instead be spent visiting some neighborhoods and museums in Rome. Sampling some local cuisine is also a good idea. Some of the places to check out are:
· Capitoline Hills Museums
These museums are the oldest in the world and from here you will also get a magnificent view of the Roman Forum. There packed with a wealth of history and so it will definitely be time well spent.
· Testaccio District for Dinner
Make a reservation in one of the restaurants that serve Roman cuisine. This will be a great opportunity for you to sample the local food. There are also some night clubs in the district if you feel like unwinding.
