6. The National Museum
Hosting around 1.7 million visitors annually, the National Museum of Scotland was formed in the year 2006, by an amalgamation of the Royal museum and the Museum of Scotland, two adjacent buildings in the Chamber Street, Old Edinburgh. With a huge and exciting collections of Scottish relics, history, culture along with some amazing display of science and technology, natural history, and world cultures, the National Museum of Edinburgh is one of the most visited places in Scotland.
