9. Bloemenmarkt and the Munttoren (Coin Tower) at Koningsplein
Located at the famous square between the Singel and Herengracht canals in Amsterdam, Bloemenmarkt is a famous flower market since 1860.Once floating, Bloemenmarkt is now perched on piles selling bulbs and tulips along with other kitsch souvenirs.
Yet another tourist attraction at Koningsplein is the Munttoren or the Mint Tower which was originally a part the main gate of the medieval city wall of Amsterdam. Today, the tower along with the flower market attracts a huge number of tourists every year.
