10 Things Not to Miss in Tanzania

1. Serengeti National Park

People seldom forget their first brush with one of the wildest places on earth—the Serengeti National Park. Taylor Swift went a step ahead and shot her music video “Wildest Dreams” at this very national park spread across the area of 14,750 square kilometres consisting of woodlands, riverine forest, grassland plains and savanna. The reason for a lasting impression of the park can be anything from the first glimpse of the majestic Naabi Hill at the entrance to an uncountable number of wildebeests (there are around 1.5 million of them) or the unparalleled sight of their world-famous annual migration. Then there are lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, hyenas, jackals, zebras, buffaloes, klipspringers and many more. Also an incredible destination for birdwatching with over 500 species, Serengeti National Park is one of the most amazing, enchanting and mind-boggling wildlife destinations on Earth. Paradise for wildlife lovers Serengeti National Park is most certainly at the top of 10 things to do in Tanzania.
