6. Edinburgh
One of the best-known symbols of Scotland’s capital is Edinburgh Castle. But, that’s not the only entry on the list of must visit places in Great Britain that has a home in Scotland. Boasting tons of history, the Royal Mile is the most famous street in the city, and connects the Palace of Holyroodhouse with the Castle. Furthermore, between the Old and New Towns in the city are some 4,500+ historic structures and buildings worth exploring. That being said, the neoclassical architecture of New Town (which isn’t exactly new, since its roots go back to the 18th century) will definitely captivate your camera at the minimum, if not all of your attention.
