9. Traena Festival
When talking about must-see legendary festivals in Europe, it can be said Traena is a little bit out there. We say this because it can get a little bizarre even for the most hardcore of festival explorers, which somehow tend to be folks from the UK. Traena is one of the smallest municipalities in Norway and its annual festival takes place on a rugged island surrounded by the sparkling ocean and swooping sea eagles. The entire 500-something population of the town participates in the celebration every year, which features a program of cutting-edge Norwegian music that covers everything from electro-pop to rap-rave.
