Lake Tanganyika, the longest lake in the world, is ranked second on the list of world’s deepest lakes. The fact that it touches Tanzania, Zambia, Burundi and DRC gives visitors or residents of all these countries the opportunity to experience the beauty that extends to the horizon. A legendary body of water in its own right and probably one that’s best known throughout Africa and the world, Tanganyika is definitely worth at least one visit during one’s lifetime.
