7. Vesuvius Volcano, Italy
Vesuvius, or Vesuvio like the Italians say, is one more most dangerous volcano in the world. One reason why it is considered so is that it is situated on the European mainland.
This volcano is on the west coast of Italy and hosts at its feet the large population of the city of Naples and several other towns on the slopes nearby. Vesuvius is already famous for destroying the cities of Herculaneum and Pompeii over history.
Archeological excavations discovered numerous bodies preserved in ash as if stoned by gods, footprints of human desperation leading to different shelters marked in the soft ash and wet volcanic mud, as well as many other things.
