8. Grand Central Terminal, USA
Although technically incorrect the Grand Central Terminal is popularly known as Grand Central Station. One of New York’s most iconic edifices, the terminal was completed in 1913. If Italian marble ticket counters aren’t luxe enough for you, Tennessee marble on the floor are eager to welcome you. Depicting stars from God’s point of view, the constellations upon the vaulted ceiling in the gorgeous main concourse is worth a look even if you are not a passenger.
