3. Cabra Castle
Not all of the fortresses and castles in Ireland are medieval, and Cabra Castle proves it. It was built in the 19th century in an intentionally nostalgic style of earlier Norman architecture. It’s a good place to relax and unwind after a busy day of touring, and the castle has a luxury other castles on this list simply don’t have. It’s also used for weddings and other ceremonies.
