1. Colmar
Straight from the storybooks with half-timbered pretty houses in all possible hues, cobblestone alleys, flower-laden balconies and scenic bridge-laced canals, the gorgeous capital of the Alsace wine region, Colmar may make you wonder if you have gone back to medieval times.
Founded in the 9th century and sitting pretty on the Alsatian Wine Route, Colmar is much famed for its well-preserved old town dotted with striking architectural milestones and its museums including the Unterlinden Museum which houses the Isenheim Altarpiece. Picture-perfect and as beautiful as a town can get, Colmar is one of the top 10 little towns in France you need to visit.

Le Mont Saint Michel is straight out of a novel. I loved it 🙂
Some good places listed but there are so many in Provence that really should be included in a list of 10 places to visit – Gordes, L’Isle sur la Sorgue, Uzes etc etc
