6. Himalayan Escape in Ladakh:
India cannot be imagined without its Himalayan range of valleys and towns. And the most unique of them all is the Ladakh region in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. Leh is the most visited place in Ladakh which boasts of monasteries, stupas, palaces of Tibetan architecture, vibrant bazaars, and some most savored local delicacies. Mostly treeless terrain, Ladakh with brown valleys and hard rocks is different from other hill towns in India. The best time to visit the trans-Himalayan valley is from June to September.
