7. Jade Lake
Measured from the start of the trail, Jade Lake is roughly an 11-mile trek; however, the hike is more than well-worth taking due to the fact that it is said that any keen hiker should have this trail on his or her bucket list. Regarded by many as one of the best places to visit in Washington, the lake is as stunning as its glacial surroundings, and it’s not difficult to guess its color when one considers its name. As a matter of fact, the bright green color of the lake comes from the surrounding glacial silt, making the sight of it after a relatively demanding hike a real sight for sore eyes. In our mind, this is a must-see destination in the state of Washington.
