9. The Washington Museum of Flight
Found by the King County International Airport, this is an air and space museum that’s been in operation since 1965. Today it’s a staple of interesting sights to behold in Washington among those interested in learning more about both air and space. Offering countless exhibits, events and programs to visitors, it has an annual visitor count of no less than 400,000. Interestingly, numerous students comprise a significant portion of that number, and they come to enjoy the aircrafts on display, as well as various camps and educational programs.
