The capital of Thailand, Bangkok is the largest city in the country, and one of the most amazing destinations you can visit on your vacation. It is a cosmopolitan city that is comprised of an amazing mixture of modern high-rise buildings, stunning palaces, busy markets and street venders, and dazzling nightclubs that offer an amazing party scene.
While Bangkok is considered by some people to be noisy and polluted, it is actually a very nice destination with several attractions. One of the best attractions in the city is the Grand Palace, which has been the official residence Kings of Siam (and later Thailand), since the destruction of Ayutthaya.
The palace, a complex structure that covers an area of 218,000 square meters, is comprised of royal residences, government offices, throne halls, temples, and priceless art pieces. It also features vast lawns, large gardens, and beautiful courtyards.
