2. Amazon Rainforest
We all know this one, right? A truly unique place in the world (gee, another one?) that’s home to similarly unique animals and plants, as well as some people. And when we say people, we’re referring to the indigenous tribes that have managed to survive in the wilderness to this day without any contact with the modern world.
One of the main reasons they were able to do that is because the Amazon covers a surface of more than one billion acres, or in other words, nine different countries. So, you know, plenty of places to hide and all that. Nevertheless, this untamed wilderness is definitely worthy of being called one of the most amazing places to visit in South America.

Perfect list, I would love to follow every inch of it. I´m a wanderer myself and I could put quite a few check marks to some from these list and still willing to see more and more. So happy travelling to all of us!
