9. Arabia Mountain, Lithonia
Another breathtaking oasis of nature, Arabia Mountain is home to dozens of brilliantly colored rare plant species, jaw-dropping views and oddly satisfying, yet seemingly out of place granite landscapes. Yeah, sounds pretty confusing, we know. But, when it comes to places to visit in Georgia, Arabia Mountain is as relaxing as it is unorthodox. It also happens to be one of only 49 National Heritage Areas in the nation, which are actually places recognized by Congress for their significance in terms of national history.
