4. Vatican City
Some of the most priceless art collections and pieces are found in the Vatican. We kid you not when we say that there are virtually too many attractions here to count; the most famous and obvious are, by far, St. Peter’s Square and Basilica. And of course, who could forget the legendary Sistine Chapel, which displays Michelangelo’s famed ceiling and wall paintings? Many other famous Italian artists are still alive and well here, all of which are reasons why you should travel to Italy at least once in a lifetime.
