5. Chateau des Milandes
Albeit a small castle, the Chateau des Milandes is an exceptional view as it combines a piece of history with one pertaining to entertainment. In the 1940s, Josephine Baker rented the place and later on bought it in 1947.
Since the late 1980s, it is considered a French historical monument, but this shouldn’t put you off as the location offers multiple fun ways to relax and enjoy the scenery, even if you’re traveling with small children.
In fact, the municipality has invested a lot of time and effort in creating several entertaining child-friendly activities, so on this account, the Chateau des Milandes is a preferred destination for families.
