Best places to visit in Alaska were bound to include a museum at some point, right? Right. Now that that’s settled, the Museum itself is home to more than one million natural history pieces and historical artifacts. This vast collection encompasses paleontology specimens, a bird collection, archeological finds from prehistoric cultures, a fine arts collection focusing on Alaskan art, and items made and used by indigenous groups. Found in Fairbanks, this museum is truly a place to learn a lot.
