Include in your 3-day itinerary in Liverpool a visit to the Liverpool Cathedral, built on St. James’s Mount, that is the seat of the Bishop of Liverpool. Even if you are not a fan of football, however the Anfield stadium will impress you! It has a seating capacity of over 54 thousand, and was originally the home of Everton F.C. Since 1892, it has been also the home of Liverpool F.C. You will enter the stadium through one of those two gates, named after former Liverpool managers: Bill Shankly or Bob Paisley. Shankly’s statue is situated outside the stadium as well.
Liverpool is an amalgam of superb buildings raised in Georgian and Victorian styles.
