Vaison la Romaine is a commune situated in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. The region is one of the most popular holiday regions in the south of France, yet Vaison la Romaine is less visited by tourists, because it has no opening to the sea. Instead, this commune is worth visiting for its history, it hosting many Roman sites. Vaison la Romaine presents a perfect symbiosis between the modern world and Roman ruins.
