10. Chinese New Year, Singapore
Usually happening between January and February, Singapore’s three-day party happens to be one of the most anticipated events in the country. However, Chinese New Year is celebrated across the region, and, outside of China, our pick is Singapore. Featuring multi-cultural sounds of music from around the world, a lion dance competition, nightly staged shows at Kreta Ayer Square, colorfully-decorated streets with intricate lanterns, fireworks and a dragon parade, it can be said this gathering is as wild as they come.
