9. Viveiro, Galicia
Looking for Spain’s best beaches? A trip to the north coast is an absolute must. Using Viveiro as a base, you could go to a different one every day of your holiday, driving for less than an hour, too. Or you could just stick to the beaches around Viveiro Bay, a teardrop-shaped inlet framed by hills covered in pine and eucalyptus trees. This is one of the Rías Altas, the estuaries that dip into the northwest coast of Galicia, which, in our mind, is a deserving entry on this list of hidden tourist gems in Spain.
