9. Bonn
Probably the main feature of Bonn in the period of winter holidays is the beautiful old Town Hall that is transformed into an immense Advent calendar, and each day one more window is lit, representing the days in a regular calendar. The Christmas market from Münsterplatz is the main fair in the city, hosting daily concerts and events that will make you fully enjoy the Christmas festive season.
You can visit the market from November 18 till December 23. Do not pass by the famous Bonn ceramic figurines of various dimensions. Buy one and it will always remind you about your fantastic German Christmas!
